Data we collect
- Quiz answers (goal, body metrics, preferences, optional name)
- Email address and account details
- Workout progress you log in the app
- Payment records: amount, plan and status. Card details are entered on our payment provider's form and never reach our servers.
- Usage and device information, and, only if you allow it in the cookie settings, analytics and advertising cookies
How we use it
To build your plan and provide the service (contract), process payments and prevent fraud (contract, legal obligation), send service emails such as your plan, receipts, renewal reminders and sign-in codes (contract), and, with your permission, marketing emails and ads measurement (consent or, in the United States, as described below).
Marketing emails
If you leave your email in the quiz and do not buy, we may email you reminders about your plan, how it works and limited-time discounts for up to 14 days. In the United States we tell you this on the email screen; everywhere else we only send these emails if you choose "Yes" on the next screen. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and the reminders stop as soon as you buy.
Cookies
We use essential storage to save your quiz progress and keep you signed in. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you accept them; you can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Who we share data with
- Stripe (payments)
- Our email delivery provider (sending emails)
- Our hosting and database provider
- Advertising platforms such as Meta, only with your consent, and only hashed identifiers
These providers process data on our instructions. Some are located outside your country, including the United States; transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
Account and workout data: while you have an account. Payment records: as long as tax law requires. Quiz data of people who did not buy: up to 12 months. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account).
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. California residents can ask what we collect and request deletion; we do not sell personal data. Contact support@muscleog.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
